To fund the cost of repairs to our HQ and repleshing the equipment that is used for camping, we undertake several fundraising ideas throughout the year.

Another way you can help the group all through the year is to register with 'The Giving Machine' and select 7th Halstead to receive donations made from the outlets your shop from online - its that easy - if you were going to make the purchase anyway, why not do it online via the link from 'The Giving Machine'.

21st Dec - 24th Dec 2011 Xmas Week Bag Packing at Sainsbury's
We will be doing our annual Christmas Bag Packing at Sainsbury's. Please try to save one of these days to help us at the store. Many hands make lighter work and also helps us raise lots more money. This is a good source of income for the group and we very much appreciate your support during this week.
Christmas spirit and all that - you will normally have quite a laugh including the oppurtunity to drape the odd bit of tinsel on your person...

15th May 2011 The Cross Walk Shoreham Woods
Enter your family or other charity group team (up to 6 in a team) in the Halstead Scout Group Cross Walk. You can choose from a gentle 3 mile walk, a little more challenging 6 mile walk or go for gold with the 10 mile walk. Sponsor forms are provided for you to collect your sponsors and once you have paid your £20 entry fee the the Halstead Scout Group the rest is yours to keep for your chosen charity.
